Every number on a firm page comes from a source we link at the bottom of that page, and every firm page shows the date it was last checked.
Sources, in order of trust
- The firm's own help center, FAQ and terms. These usually hold the binding rules.
- The firm's pricing and checkout pages. For prices, account sizes and the discount currently shown.
- The firm's official announcements. For rule changes and published promo codes.
- Third-party sites and trader reports. Only to find where to look, or to flag a disagreement. When a fact rests on these, the page says so.
The 50K reference account
Firms sell many plans and sizes. To compare like with like, our tables use each firm's main 50K plan (usually its cheapest standard evaluation, or its flagship where that is clearer), or the nearest size where a firm does not sell 50K. The full plan list is on each review.
How often we re-check
We re-check the main firms every week and the rest at least monthly, and immediately when a firm announces a change. The date at the top of each page is the last full check.
How we build lists
Our "best of" lists start from a filter on the data (for example, firms with end-of-day drawdown and no consistency rule in the evaluation), then order the firms by the rules that matter for that use: price for the cost of a pass attempt, max loss relative to the target, how the drawdown moves, payout rules and the firm's track record. Affiliate deals play no part. Firms we have no deal with appear in lists when they fit.
What we do not do
- We do not copy promo codes from coupon sites. We list codes a firm publishes, with the date we saw them.
- We do not publish pass rates or payout totals we cannot source.
- We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or removals.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us with a link to the source. We fix confirmed errors and update the page date.
